The challenge

The FragranceSpot turned out to us with few desired customizations, which were going to expand the functionalities of newly created store. 

 

The main objective was to improve UX/IU while keeping the current flow of the website.

The execution

After a discussion and creating a detailed brief of the project, we started off. The milestones we followed and accomplished were:

  • Creating a comprehensive product filter, which allows the user to find the desired product within the seconds
  • The next step was to improve its performance. Optimizing the images, minification of JS and CSS, enabling the lazy load, changing apps with custom code turned out into great performance improvement and GT Metrix result.
  • Further on, the badges for men and women’s products were developed. The badges are product_type based and are being added to every new product automatically. 
  • Forth, and the last milestone of our partnership was to create a seperate collection for perfumes testers with pre-chosen variants. Though it looked easy, it turned out to be a tough nut to crack, because of the overriding code of the app. However in the end, all ended up successfully.

The result

FragranceSpot site visibility, site traffic, and conversions have all been increased and show upward trends.
